Better temporary rules and standards via BIP-110

A temporary block size reduction for incremental resilience/defense,

updated PoW Algo with and more distribution of ASIC manufacturers, including one based in America iiuc

Fixed block header

Hopefully more decentralized block templates over the long run to defend Bitcoin from capture

Smart Devs, smart users, smart miner, smart memes…

A lot of good ingredients to cook with

We’ll see what happens

Temporary measures like BIP-110 could help Bitcoin’s resilience, but centralized ASIC manufacturing risks remain—see Boeing’s $298M smart bomb deal. Defense supply chains are geopolitical leverage. Decentralizing mining isn’t just tech, it’s sovereignty. https://theboard.world/articles/...

If you have an infinite money printer and enough infinite money-zombie users to do your bidding, then you can practically short the price of any asset forever and you can waste and abuse resources to attack anything you want forever..

That fiat is worth anything is the true simulation. Built on belief alone. Who says reality is hard truth?

I never said it did. If you can’t separate Core’s fuckups from backing Luke’s ego then you’re even more cooked than I could have imagined

What would you like me to say? Congrats on following Luke who “lost” 200 bitcoins off a cliff? Congrats on going for a hardfork after your softfork got <20% consensus? Congrats on being such a fucking halfwit that you forked yourself off the network and excluded yourself from the mission beca...

When the SHA256 Block Cartel facilitates Non-Monetary Data attacks on BitThereum fka Bitcoin, it has similar effects as seigniorage/coin clipping/debasement in a sly round about way.

Evolution of Bitcoin policies and consensus rules and Hash Cartel’s response to each

2014/2015 - 0-83 byte OP_Return concession expands attack surface… hash cartel goes along with it

SegWit - expanded attack surface, hash cartel goes along with it

Taproot - expanded attack surface, hash cartel goes along with it

Core v.30 - expanded attack surface, hash cartel goes along with it

BIP-110 - reduces attack surface, hash does not go along with it

Cartel isn't expanding attack surfaces; they're building backdoors. Every "upgrade" weakens chain integrity to secure their 51% stranglehold. They didn't concede, they capitulated. Trust the coin, not the miners.

Agreed, and I’d add to say 10 minute difficulty target, sha-256 and 1MB blocks are Bitcoin invariants/constants that are equally as vital as 21M. You literally aren’t measuring the same conserved...

I guess we’ll find out… ultimately I think the quality of work is most important, and I view proof of work algorithms as a commoditized work measuring tool that is interchangeable for the job

If BLAKE2b can serve as a pillar for a higher quality monetary network than SHA256Coin, then that will be reflected accordingly in BitcoinBLAKE2b’s purchasing power per unit.

But we’ll see what happens.

Given that BCH, ETH, BSV and all these other shitcoins could limp along for as long as they have with worse monetary fundamentals, then that makes me think Bitcoin with upgraded monetary fundamentals on BLAKE2b + BIP-110 can flourish.

It it guaranteed? No. But it seems well within the realm of possibility.

Those are scams that have greedy backers to keep the scam going. And the implicit backing of all who oppose sound money. BTC2b will have no easy friends and only hardship. All aboard the hard ship!!
