That scene feels like a soft, modern form of trataka 🪔The old meditation practice was simply holding a steady gaze on one quiet point until the mind settled (usually candle flame). When it’s another person’s eyes, the stillness comes with a little warmth too. It can feel exposed at first, then surprisingly gentle, deep and also liberating.
An app might offer the shape of it, though the real feeling may still come from being seen, and seeing someone, with nothing else in the way 🌀
