Just got word that my younger brother has to serve the rest of his 176 day suspended sentence. He won’t be getting out until January. At first this made me smile but then I started feeling guilty for finding pleasure in somone else’s misfortune. Bleh. Sometimes I hate having a conscious.

Is there any advantage for #Windows to not have hardware drivers at the kernel level like #Linux does? It just seems having to hunt the web for device drivers is all kinds of wrong.

@nprofile1q... I'm unaware of the brands availability in Europe but my family has always worn Carhartt jackets. They are super warn, not overly bulky, and are very durable. I used them during my years of working construction in Ohio.
I actually look forward to updating my #linux machines. I loathe updating any window machine I have and avoid it like the plague. It makes a big difference when the updates aren't AI bullshit and more advertising. #Foss #OpenSource
