Oh sweet summer child - no you are not. In brevis: Iran now operate the Straits as their toll gate and set conditions of passage, have quadrupled the price of their oil revenue. They lost of a lot of outdated military hardware that clearly was not much use to their more asymmetric posture sure but the regime is renewed with new leadership and are battle hardened. @nprofile1q... I was wondering recently what do they do all day on Star Trek. They seem grossly overstaffed. Sure it seems busy when there are klingons on the starboard bow but the rest of the star dates? Does Scotty have engineering problems enough to keep him busy? Bones could feasibly have a pretty busy surgery modern meds notwithstanding, but the rest of them? Navigation doesn't seem that difficult, it seems all mostly automated. There could be quite a lot of going boldly without incident.

Some have been hit by Trump tariffs, not really foreseeable that Americans would vote for the pedo twice but most of them are paying them off and are not toxic at all. Retail investors are just pissed because they don't understand the basic finance of loans are illiquid fixed term and you can't just duck when you are spooked by AI hype. People are free to factor but they can't complain if they have to take a haircut to get out early.
