Von Gesetz wegen hat die US-Administration Zugriff darauf. Auf welche Weise, ist undokumentiert. Möglicherweise können weitere kriminielle Akteuere dieses Backdoor nutzen.

Bei diesemGrad von kaputter Verschlüsselung kann man trefflich darüber streiten, wie groß diese Lücke und wie viel besser als "nicht vorhanden" das ist.

Gleichzeitig lässt du dabei unerwähnt, dass macOS und Windows durchaus aus OSS-Komponenten bestehen, die für die gleiche Art von Versagen anfällig sind.

Beim Thema FDE lässt du aus, dass Microsoft mit Win11 deinen Bitlocker-Schlüssel in der Default-Konfiguration für den Endanwender geschmeidig in die Cloud lädt.

Wenn man drei Produkte vergleicht und bei zwei Produkten die Schwächen verschweigt, dann scheinen die Schwächen beim dritten Produkt natürlich gewichtiger.

Die Aussage ist aber in seiner Absolutheit leider nicht richtig.

Du streichst zum Beispiel zurecht Schwächen im Sandboxing heraus. Gleichzeitig bleiben Lücken im Sandboxing von MacOS oder Windows unerwähnt.

Du greifst exemplarisch Heartbleed in OpenSSL als OSS-Komponente heraus, bei der die Fehlerkontrolle versagt hast, was legitim ist .

Wow, that was quite a computer! It took some years to convince my dad that we needed a sound card. So my first run on MI1 was with PC beeper only. My cousin did the disc jockey approach with his Amiga but acceptable sound. So the game improved for me over the years.

I enjoy playing Monkey Island on scummVM with graphics filters, voice acting and orchestral sound any time. But I don’t want to mess around with slow floppies, code wheels, config.sys, autoexec.bat, the code wheel, a lousy 14 inch CRT and bad speakers anymore. That’s the part of the gaming experience back then, people tend to forget about.
