These mouses win tho. They are aluminum and nicely heavy, which beats even the sturdier plastic of the past imho. Heavy + very high DPI is great for my CTS. I'm also fond of the thumb wheel. Less resistance than buttons, good for quick actions. They're also surprisingly ergonomic

I was so sad when they went bankrupt, and so happy they're now back

I think there is another key takeaway in this: sometimes we nerds want to make stuff super fancy and nice, think everything out and make it super cool. But most of the time, regular Average Joe end users don't care much about that at all and are often just as happy with something simple and plain :blobcatadorable:. Tweakers also confirmed Abdoul personally asked to be named this way. His own screenshot even shows him sending Tweakers "sort of co-founder. Please change".

And they confirmed that @nprofile1q... already said this back then (in 2020):
"Co-founder isn't an accurate description of his role. Where are you getting that from? Did he say that to you?"

Tweakers also mentioned that they're not sure why it wasn't removed back then, implying it should've and didn't get redacted as an oversight

Imho it makes him look worse. He replies with inconsistencies, goes all Trump with "that never happened", stays vague, tries to redirect the topic away from the actual questions, and best: his screenshots seem to line up with @nprofile1q... their story

He also uses some similar tricks to "cyber security expert" Rian van Rijbroek, from overly referring to secret services to using previous publications to proof how real he is

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Any of the main people really. The team is quite small and everyone is kinda multi-purpose. I would suggest asking them and see if anyone has time and is willing 😅.

Disclaimer that I'm not really part of the AsteroidOS team, just a happy user. All I did was some testing and 1 tiny bugfix.
