Maybe you should spend a bit more time exercising a healthy level of skepticism about your own beliefs. I've done this, and that's how I ended up being an atheist. I couldn't continue believing just on faith, because that's not a path to truth.

You're more right than you realize, and it doesn't help your case. It was not _only_ written by people in the bronze age who were ignorant of how the world works. Since then then, it's been rewritten, mistranslated, had forgeries included, other books removed, then mistranslated and rewritten all over again multiple times. So yeah, complex, intricate, but divine or even divinely inspired? Nope. Proof of god's existence? Not a chance. It's a coagulated mess of misogyny, racism, war mongering, genocide, incest, and other depravity **with the occasional nugget of wisdom and love mixed it**; so credit where credit is due I guess.

The "lord" isn't going to reward anyone for anything because he/she/it is not real.

It's probably worth mentioning, that you don't want this communication to be overheard by your superiors at work, or found out through mainstream social media, which gives only the illusion of privacy.

I agree. I don't endorse his killing of course, I just don't weep for him either. No one should be killed for their speech, but also none of us can undo what was done.
