I agree. Here's range tests. You can ignore it and keep looking like a moron who can't admit he's wrong. https://meshtastic.org/docs/overview/range-tests/

Just admit you never tried LoRa yourself.

Notice that all the pictures on the page you linked are taken on beautiful sunny days on high-located places without obstacles.

It is a nice gadget, good for the geekies.. just not really something you'll really use outside videos for instagram/youtube. Meshtastic has been criticized enough for holding back development on this topic if you ever pass long time inside the community.

You can receive LoRa on your backyard from 2000 kilometers away: https://tinygs.com/

But trust me that it won't really work for more than 100 meters inside a forest, with buildings or foggy/rainy days. I've tried it for months, maintained ground stations (which get damaged in less than a year). One thing is theory, the other is practice.

That is a lie, plain and simple.

I was following the news at the time. For months there was no plausible explanation about that tower, despite major insistence to get an explanation.

You can look up the news yourself, there was already internet at that time.

Just 3. The last one was admitted as controlled explosion, albeit alway refusing to explain how the building was rigged in advance for exploding.

Don't even start reading about the airplane that disappeared inside a mine, wings included. So much bullshit wouldn't even be accepted by today's standards.

lol i explained to FrogFren as well, and several other people today - Building 7 was meant for demolishing in the same week that 9/11 happened, but due to the event they postponed it. They also invite media to come film it and record it. Building 7 was emptied out weeks prior to the incident. It's ...

Sounds like a personal problem. I regularly get strangers popping up to say hello and occasionally someone on an airplane flying over.

Is sneakernet with deadrops on LXMF a better solution?

That's a nice gadget, that's it.

You won't use it in the real world when something like that is really needed, because nobody else around you has one.

Plus: your cellphone will barely last one day even in standby mode and you will soon discover that coverage for that thing is god-awful with obstacles between both parties. We are talking about a reach of 30 meters, you might as well be shouting to your neighbors instead of using fancy devices.

Real-world useful tech are sneakernets.
