Yep, they are the worst! I will admit that they absolutely terrify me and I shriek like a girl and run away when one comes near me! BUT (and I have to constantly remind myself of this), while they may not be the most important pollinators, they are quite important for pest control. Without them, there would be a lot more caterpillars, grasshoppers, and other insects that damage plants... Always amazes me how everything plays a part in the ecosystem!

I almost got the 100-500! I'm glad I went with the 200-800 though. It has been awesome for what I do. The only problem is now I want an extender! 🫣 Also, if you want a camera bag that you can actually set up so you can leave the 200-800 attached to your body, I have the Lowerpro ProTactic 450 AW. Totally worth the money, super comfortable, and I can literally slide the lens straight down into the bag from the top with the body attached. Super convenient.

What subject do you typically shoot? And what camera body do you have?
