So the walk was ok, the speeches at the start pretty good. But then queer people where banned/silenced from the opening in the park because some cishets needed to talk and are too fragile to see anything politically critical?! Why the hell did they get a stage in the first place. 🙄

A bit of positivity: Say we would be shutting down datacenters, we neatly strip then and re-use the resources more wisely.

Can you imagine a datacenter and how it could be best re-used with minimal construction work?

I'm thinking shade structure for life in deserts, indoor social spaces like skate rings and rooftop gardens

There is an writing skill I see rarely deployed: the ability to write an captivating (story) book that isn't exciting, that isn't about any danger that needs to be overcome.

I get the idea this style is under valued. But sometimes life is exciting enough, and one wants to find some peace in a story.

So I re read the ones I have.
