Good morning team! 🚀
There's a HUGE knowledge gap out there...
Technicians who master hands-on work 🛠️
Order managers who crush people & teams 👥
And a tiny % who truly GET Bitcoin & what it really is ₿
That's where the MASSIVE opportunity lives—closing that gap EARLY!

I've been working to teach myself the basics of AI and as theyvsaybtue bestvqaybtomleatnnis to teach soninhave come up with a series of lessons to help simple people like me learn the quick and simple basics, below are my first attempts at explaining this.

Would appreciate any feedback you may have NOSTR

Part 1

Welcome. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably heard a lot of noise about AI. Some people say it’s going to take everyone's job; others say it’s just a toy. In my opinion, I’ve seen tools come and go, and I’m telling you: AI is just a new kind of power tool. But you don't use it to search for things like you do with Google. You use it to do things.

Think of Google like a library. You go in, you ask for a book, and it points to a shelf. You still have to do all the reading and the work. AI is different. AI is like a brand-new apprentice. This apprentice has read every book in the world, but they have zero common sense. They don't 'know' facts they predict patterns.

AI sees the world in what we call 'Tokens.' Imagine a bucket of Lego bricks. Each brick is a piece of a word. When you ask a question, the AI looks at the bricks you gave it and tries to predict which brick should come next based on everything it's ever read. It’s like the auto-complete on your phone, but on a massive scale.

So, here’s your first gut-check: If you ask an AI to summarize a 500 page book in one go, and it starts getting things wrong, why do you think that is? It’s because its 'workbench' what we call the Context Window is only so big. If the pile of bricks gets too high, the ones at the edges start falling off the table.

Before we move on, remember the Golden Rule of the Shop: Never put anything into an AI that you wouldn't want pinned to a public bulletin board. It’s a public tool, so keep your private data private. You’re the foreman here. The AI is the apprentice. Let's get to work.

Part 2

The 4-part formula for giving direction to your apprentice.

In any trade, the quality of the job depends on the clarity of the work order. If I tell an apprentice to 'fix the truck,' I might come back to find he changed the oil when I actually needed the brakes checked. To get the best out of AI, we use the R.C.T.O. formula.

First, give it a Role. Tell the AI who it is. 'You are an expert mechanic' or 'You are a veteran HR administrator.' This tells the AI which 'patterns' to look for.

Second, give it Context. What’s the situation? Don't just say 'Write a letter.' Say, 'I have a client who hasn't paid their invoice in 60 days, and I want to stay friendly but be very firm.'

Third, the Task. What exactly do you want? 'Draft a three-paragraph email requesting payment by Friday.'

Finally, the Output. How should it look? 'Put the main points in a bulleted list' or 'Keep it under 100 words.'

Think about it: If you ask for a meal plan and just say 'I want to eat healthy,' you’ll get something generic. But if you tell the AI 'You are a nutritionist, I am a construction worker who needs a high-protein lunch with no microwave for under five dollars,' you get a real tool you can actually use. That is the power of R.C.T.O. If you can master that formula, you’ve already out-performed most people using AI today.

Now think back to the last interaction you had with AI and consider did you get a poor or disappointing response? try that question again but apply the above formula and see if there is any difference in the quality of the output.

Stay tuned for part 3 and beyond
