Students in my office hours discussing they think the *most sure* ways to make money:

Go viral on tik tok with a goofy dance or something
Have a popular youtube channel
Make lucky bets on sports
Be early in some tech stock

More sure than finishing a degree in engineering and looking for a job.

I was eavesdropping on their conversation amongst themselves, they were not asking me for my opinion. I only added “no one can take your education away from you” and “you will not regret building your intellect”.

Concerned.

Some Bitcoiners believe in freedom and the peace and prosperity possible if we could trade outside the central banking system.

Some Bitcoiners are just degenerates who accidentally found a “virtuous” reason to continue engaging in risky behavior.

You know the difference by who gets excited by paper bitcoin, strategic bitcoin reserves, leverage, cycles, etc.

I suppose everything eventually gets corrupted by the weak.
