There are tons of ethical machine learning trials and even prototypes and even fully fledged implementations that can do exactly what he wants to do. Act as an encyclopedia for his own collection of writings. I just constantly feel like he’s trying to use a tool that isn’t made for what he’s using it for. I just don’t get it. If you want to talk local machine learning, I would love to have a conversation about targeted local machine learning that aims to do multiple kinds of things for very specific applications that are trained on data willingly open either via creative commons or via the public domain. What the hell is he talking about? I constantly feel like he’s found a new toy and he doesn’t want it taken away.
