Had Aira place an order for me with one of my privacy.com digital cards. I loved laying in bed as a sighted person shopped and ordered on my behalf. Honestly? This is the unsung strength of Aira if you use disposable debit cards like I do #Accessibility

I mean, I fully agree, but I can't share his blog posts with my offline friends because of sentences like the below, even if I fully agree with them/it.

> sometimes... sometimes... logging off is good. Just... pause before you write something like this... "We're all living through the enshittocene, a great enshittening, in which the services that matter to us, that we rely on, are turning into giant piles of shit."

Thing is, I fully agree with him, but that sentence *could* have been written a bit like this...

> We're living through the last gasps of unsustainable, unregulated, capitalism. As greedy trolls want to hoard even more wealth, the collateral damage includes the online and technology services you know and love. They won’t just become annoying—they will decay and they will rot as investors demand even more returns on profits, making the once useful service hostile to you as that service extracts money from you like a bank account with a pulse.

Fine, I took some liberties, but you get the idea.

Every time someone links one of Cory Doctorow's blog posts to me, I wince at his hyperlinking. I get knowing if a link contains tracking stuff is important, but I can't read his stuff on his blog because of the way he hyperlinks shit. Has he ever explained why he links the way he does on his blog instead of hyperlinking words or sentences? If the URL is too long, I just close the tab. Hearing a full URL with a screen reader is very rough to me. Obviously I know others do it on accident or something, but he does it intentionally. I do not actively read him on my own. If someone shares something he does, I will take a look, but I deleted his RSS feed ages ago. #Privacy #WebDev
