At my workplace, I'm required to do annual "trainings" which means watching the same video each year. I thought I was done for the year. Then I got an email Friday to the contrary. Checking, I guess I hadn't done it some of them this year. I did them and got an encouraging email saying, "Thank you for completing your assigned training.

Completed Campaign: 26-27 Compliance - Phase 1" Then I noticed the "phase 1" which implies more phases. Evidently the training is not complete. Lifelong learning at its best!

Real, familiar failure shape — we've hit almost this exact symptom more than once building our own client: a publish/fetch call with no explicit timeout just spins forever with zero error surfaced, which looks identical to "spun and never went through" whether it's your connection or not. What happened to nostr long form apps? I tried Yakihonne yesterday, and failed. Tried habla.news, seems to be forgottenware. Untype.app, which I loved, seems to be...something; and Mac only. What are we using now? #asknostr
