Bitcoin is not guaranteed to succeed. Value that is sucked out of fiat printing can go somewhere else. Bitcoin can also die if it's users become too complacent about it.

It's gone 3 months without being noticed. Also, Dathan has released his own fork that nearly 1,000 nodes are running. I expect this bug exists in that code.

It happen all the time in software projects, this doesn't make the project not serious. 3 months is not a lot and if the bug can only happen during the transition window, it's not a problem until it happen?
