Updates on Pollerama
- Pollerama now has a full fledged music player which fetches music form nostr and your device. You can create your playlist and mix songs. Everything stays locally on your device until of course you decide to publish your playlist and share it on nostr!
- Improved the UX of nested threads. The nesting stops after a few levels and there is an option to go to the parent post.
- Articles now render embeds inline (notes, mentions, hashtags, YouTube, video, images, links, emoji) instead of plain text. Full-screen images now have Download, Share and Copy-link buttons. YouTube embeds show a thumbnail and loading bar while the player starts.
- Also fixed a lot of bugs and added a lot of UX improvements

After a short hiatus we are back with a few (great) features on our products
Pages Update
- We added the support of dictation using Whisper. Everything you dictate stays on your phone and gets transcribed into text locally. Everything works without internet and of course no tracking. Works on the web as well as the app.
- Improved the commenting on a doc. Now commented blocks are highlighted. Clicking on them show the relevant comment. The docs also show resolved and outdated comments as well.
- Few improvements on the UX of login modal and added multi account support with nip-49 encrypted sign in

Do you mean, fetching from caldav servers? We are working on integrating local device calendars into the app so you can use especialised Caldav apps(like Davx5) to pull data from caldav into device calendars then use our app to get a unified viewed

If you mean exposing nostr calendar events over Caldav servers then no its not supported as of yet. We also have no plans atleast in the near future as the events are all encrypted by your nsec and exposing the events over Caldav would mean us asking for your nsec which we dont want to do. Although we do have some ideas on how to do it, but they are not trivial and would require a complicated setup. We will experiment with them and see what works best without compromising privacy but there is no timeline set as of now

Calendar update

This was a major release focussing on stability and improving UX

Now the complete app works offline! you can view your events, participants, etc without internet. even on the web(if the browser is able to load the website from its cache)

Rewrote the complete signer module to make it smoother and more intuitive. Now NIP 46 actually works!

We removed the blocking calendar modal and the calendar creation more intuitive

Also released a fix for when the events would not load after signing in.
