I guarantee Amazon isn't going to jail for 16 years for their three-orders-of-magnitude-greater (alleged) theft. How different would the US justice system look if individuals (edit: not just rich ones) were allowed to settle criminal complaints for pennies on the dollar the way corporations do (and even moreso, if we all had the capacity to do so).
