We test some releases from GitHub, but we can’t guarantee that what you have installed on your phone is the same as what was released on GitHub. The Play Store modifies the bundles it sends based on the device’s language and screen, for example. That’s why it’s a good idea for multiple users to contribute different versions of their wallet binaries. The more different bundles we can verify, the more likely it is that what you install will come from those sources.
