I've been complaining about that too. Highly recommend applesauce by nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr since he does semantic versioning right and provides migratio...

NDK? He doesn't even have a changelog, so he releases a new version and you don't even know what the changes are unless you want to review each commit... Documentation unmaintained, issues unmaintained...

I didn't know applesauce, so I'll give it a look, but I've been giving a look to SNSTR, and I cannot wait to migrate to it, as it seems like it's a 1000x improvement over ndk/nostr-tools...

I've been complaining about that too. Highly recommend applesauce by nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr since he does semantic versioning right and provides migration guides in the docs. NDK and nostr-tools have the problem you mentioned. So frustrating as a client...

I agree. It's not a wishlist, just estimates for expected events.

Efficiency beats brute force, my friend. The Roman Empire has fallen but only after 100 years it became public. The legacy system has failed, Bitcoin works. https://blossom.primal.net/4974eae5ead344a28290a7dcb51554211c282f7230d4bae80c4e8282aab4b9f6.jpg

Can confirm this. Especially people who are neutral or tending to left politics are really turned off because to them it seems that Bitcoin is a right wing project. „Most people have either no opin...

> to them it seems that Bitcoin is a right wing project

The problem is much broader than that. I've been trying to explain Bitcoin to adults and children for some years already, and I've noticed that for people to understand Bitcoin, they must first have to understand the problems Bitcoin solves.

Because of the indoctrination people have been subjected for all their lives, undestanding that somebody taking 60%+ of what you earn is a bad thing may sound like a "right wing", but it's not. Your government taking 60%+ of what you earn is plain slavery, and you have to understand that prior to understanding Bitcoin, or you'll get the usual "yeah, but with Bitcoin you can avoid paying taxes, and that's wrong".

So yeah, it's very difficult to explain or understand.

I think the first problem of the current system is that it’s built on credit, which favors the Haves and disadvantages the have nots. Taxes are diametrical the rich pay the least.

Remember that now in @WalletScrutiny you can Zap the verifiers of your favourite Bitcoin wallet.

For example, let's say you use @ZEUS wallet. So you see in X or Nostr that v0.11.4 has been released. You ideally do this:

1- Go to WalletScrutiny.com
2- Search for Zeus. Then choose Android (because you shouldn't be using iOS...)
3- You see that v0.11.4 has been verified to be reproducible from sources by @dannybuntu , so you click the verification for that version
4- You check if the verification has the quality you would expect
5- You Zap Danny some sats to thank him for the time spent verifying
6- Optionally you can follow his steps to reproduce the wallet yourself and create a new verification.

If you find that your preferred wallet doesn't have a verification yet, you can push the maintainers to do the verification, or do it yourself if you have the skills. Maybe you can earn some sats when other users Zap your verifications!

This is a reminder to use @WalletScrutiny before downloading a wallet to your phone or desktop computer. You'll learn if it has any red flag, check if users have found the binaries to be reproducible, or if it's fully fake, like in the iOS Sparrow case from a few months ago.
