The article behind the following link has a suspicious wording, saying that the traffic to Sweden will be planned for "later this year". ("Ostoliikenteen laajenemista Ruotsiin Haaparantaan valmistellaan alkavaksi myöhemmin tänä vuonna.")

While June *is* later than April, the wording suggests something later than that. Looks like VR has found a way to delay things. ...and might still manage to cancel the whole thing if it is any lucky.

So, the coming timetables for the trains from Finland to Haaparanta in Sweden have been published now. On working days two trains per day and direction. On Saturdays ("la") three, on Sundays ("su") three as well. Ol = Oulu, Hpa = Haaparanta.

Leaving 5:08 in the morning from Oulu is humoristic! But expected, as VR wants to prove that passengers don't want to use this connection.

In practical terms there's one usable train per week: On Saturday.

It's also an action of protection of society.
Eventually, some form of fascism will be in force, regardless of society. The less surveillance there is, the better chances the society has for ridding itself of the fascism and returning to safe tracks.

We as a society "have nothing to hide" right now, but in the future we will, some day.

I disagree with this :)
It is slavery if too many people can avoid it.

In Finland some 90% of male population has gone through a military service. And if the Russia attacks, we all defend. Not because we are slaves, but because we have a responsibility to protect our children and coming generations from inhumane brutality.
And yes, that's a responsibility. You can choose to do a civil service if you prefer not doing a military service, but one must be chosen.
