The dappled deer within the forest frolic;
Of fabled innocence are they symbolic.

Noise and movement mark our times, and neither bring a blessing.

No one to speak, no one to listen,
And ere you know it, no car to be driven.

Book order hasn't arrived after two weeks. Don't think it's coming.

Discovered an attached file in my emails from decades ago, the plan was for a book of prayers, which never happened. Am very glad to recover it. The title of the book was to be taken from one of the prayers: “I Hate Shaving.”

One often has little to say,
but says it with many words.
If the tongue should endlessly bray,
then bind it with many cords.

“Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!” Isaiah 12.6 NETB.

As the book of Isaiah closes the first major section, the prophet envisions future glory for Israel in restoration. God is present and active to bless and restore the remnant, who sing praises of gratitude to God and invite one another to join in the worship. The citizens of Zion here represent the people of God in the Messianic age.

Wanna go back to the days when they remarked that everybody complained about the weather but nobody ever did anything about it.

The sun never really came out and heated up our space, as predicted. Just as well for me. Umpteenth time to note: don't trust the weather forecasts. You'll de better sticking your head out the window or door to get an idea.

“After knowing that Jesus Christ is our Saviour, we should want to know how to be saved from our past sins. We can even learn this from these first four books. We have Jesus telling how Christians are to be made. (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15, 16; Luke 24:46, 47.)” -Fred E. Dennis
