I had the distinct honor a few years ago of having a retired ABC journalist as my neighbor. She knocked on my door constantly to say that she needed to watch the news because she had woefully disabled her TV access.

She would come into my home to watch the news, and if I dared to say anything, she would say, "quiet, I'm watching the news."

Then she would ask if the temperature was changed to accommodate her 😂 . The short answer is "no."

@nprofile1q... If we're talking about average consumers, I find not only that they're not interested to learn anything about healthy security practices, but that they also don't want to give up their creature comforts over something as trivial as putting their accounts at risk.

The last person I mentioned this to was a lady with an LG TV, who told me she's used it for years and that she's not giving up streaming Netflix. I don't know how you fight apathy.
