Of course there is #steamcmd, and of course I’m using it.

It’s been a month since I moved. Putting everything else aside, I took this opportunity to continue my minimalism experiment. Sure, let’s call it that. Just a couple of thoughts.

I really like the ultrawide monitor. There’s no other screen to distract me, but there’s plenty of space to open windows.

As I said before, this is pure Void Linux — no Steam, no Wine — but that doesn’t help much with deciding what to play. Even if I ignore DOS and emulators, there are still too many games. 😖

It’s fun to think that the suspension of disbelief was invented.

It’s difficult to do that with theater for obvious reasons, but you can compare old and new fiction books. Nowadays, you’re immediately in the story, go-go-go. Back then, there would be a justification: Who is the narrator? Why are they telling the story? What is it about? Who it is intended for? An unskippable tutorial, if you will. And the language would not conceal the artificiality. It’s *a story*, there is *a narrator*.

I don’t know about planes, but if you can walk away from assembling furniture, it’s good assembling.
