We need help anywhere from one to seven mornings a week, so this could suit one person who wants several regular mornings or a few people covering different days.

Full training will be given in food hygiene and safe milk handling, and we will pay for you to complete your Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.

In the past, several of our dairy volunteers have gone on to learn cow handling, milking and general farm work — and some have moved into full-time paid employment with us.

You don’t need previous dairy or farm experience, but you do need to be reliable, careful, willing to learn and understand that bottling milk properly really matters.

We are a small, busy, working dairy near Weston, North Hertfordshire.

Our cows are pasture-fed, with some receiving home-grown oats during winter after calving to support their energy needs while feeding their calves.

Available with overnight UK-wide delivery. Bar Sundays & Mondays.

Order Information

While we gradually relaunch the dairy, orders are currently limited to a maximum of 16 litres per order to allow the herd to adjust.

Packaging

Milk is delivered in reusable bottles. Please reuse or recycle bottles and labels where possible. If you would like to arrange returns of packaging, please get in touch.

Delivery

Is by Royal Mail Next Day delivery no signature required, your postie will leave your box if you are not in. Please make a note in your order if you have a safe/special place for the delivery such as somewhere where there is shade or shelter from the weather. I will send you the tracking details once the box has been despatched. If your box of milk gets delayed, don't worry it's so fresh and cold when it's packed, the packaging is designed to keep it cool enough for a 2-3 day delivery to the outer reaches. Contact Fiona if you are concerned about a delayed or failed delivery.
