It's also not black and white, all or nothing. You can spend a bit. You can spend & replace the sats by buying more. You can set budgets. etc

The mistake is in assuming Bitcoin was ever about getting rich quick.

There's a lot of cool Monero people out there, most are not like that. It's the same for Bitcoiners and basically everything else.

And yes, it's important to keep in mind what really matters (about those matters) - and it's not bitcoin vs monero, it's bitcoin + monero.

By the way, criticize Monero all you want. As long as it's coming from a constructive place, it can be useful too. Lack of constructive criticism breeds complacency.
