"We' ll keep fighting within corechain but also do a hardfork just in case corechain completely fails to deliver on the Mission of separating money from the state." 👌🏾I like this approach.

I may be on the side of BIP110, but I don't think a hard fork is necessarily the solution.

The world we live in doesn't work the way we want it to. We may live in a world captured by banking cartels, greedy politicians, and powerful corporations, but I don't think the answer is to exit for Mars and try to recreate Earth somewhere else.

I think the more realistic solution is to mount a rebellion big enough to challenge the legacy system from within.

And if we fail? Reorganize. Change tactics. Try again.

What do I mean by that?

Bitcoin may be centralizing in certain ways, but simply exiting doesn't solve the underlying problem. The solution is to make Bitcoin harder to capture.

Spread the word.

Educate more people.

Run your own node.

Support decentralized mining.

Do solo mining.

Support projects like OCEAN.

Run Bitcoin Knots.

Build tools that reduce dependence on intermediaries.

Create alternatives to the institutions we don't trust.

The goal isn't to find another planet/fork where Bitcoin can be perfectly decentralized.

The goal is to make Bitcoin so widely distributed, understood, and independently operated that no single group can easily capture it.

We don't need to escape the legacy system.

We need to build something strong enough to replace it.

And when we reach critical mass, we don't need permission to liberate Bitcoin.

We simply make capture increasingly impossible.

I was referring to the Bitcoin protocol consensus (as in consensus vs. mempool policy). You are talking about social consensus to change a mempool policy. Changing the first has more powerful consequences to immutability than changing the latter.

You had/have a choice not to upgrade to core 30 or choose whichever node software to run without resorting to changing consensus.
