On "the news" they use it to mean "not america and israel" but it's absolutely just the southern hemisphere and folks are using it to further divide. Because that's what the powers that be want, divide and conquer. I'm so tired of so many people in this "freedom space" being so hung up on politics and everything mainstream media shoves down our throats. I came here to get away from Facebook, Twitter, and instagram.

Pretty sure it just means the southern hemisphere like we learned about in elementary school. Like "the west" is the western hemisphere and "the east" is the eastern hemisphere.

This is one of thr most confounding things about nostr to me; the sheer number of boot licking "just one more election and we'll have the right ones in charge" fucking morons.
