@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... simple would be dual boot, but that would require double the space. you simply install windows first to a partition you tell windows to make (small enough for the Linux partition, but big enough to do what you need in windows. Once it's installed to your liking, install your distribution of choice, being sure to select around the windows drive when selecting where to put things. Once it's installed it should give you a boot selection screen on reboot to choose.

You can run the windows apps under a compatability layer, such as wine or Proton, you can look for open source versions (you would be surprised as to what is out there, may not be the same but would do what you may need perhaps), could run windows in a virtual machine under Linux with usb passthrough, or dual boot windows and linux

@nprofile1q... did you know that 3% , called "whole milk" isn't whole? The fat is all skimmed off then added back in standardized percentages. Different breeds give different fat content, I've had 7% raw milk from a jersey cow that was sublime....

@nprofile1q... deet will attack nylon fibers, so i have to use Picard, which isn't as effective. I use permethrin 10% diluted to 0.5% to soak clothing and outdoor gear in. It does work. Additionally I use a thermocell backpacker model (the portable ones use outrageously expensive gas cartridges, backpacker model uses standard cooking butane bottles, and a single 5 dollar tank will last most of a summer). I seem not to attract ticks (wife gets tens of ticks ill have none) but mosquitos luv me...
