Valid points. I've feel that technology has made us both more efficient but dumber at the same time. I remember planning a route with my dad on a physical map, but now we just ask a maps app. When I moved across country, instead of learning the lay of the land, I relied on Google Maps and I'm pretty sure it cost me years of fully understanding where I was.
