well I was assuming that there was some concern that substitutions would happen instead of downsampling so by having standard downsampling options written into the protocol substitution cannot take place, just downsampling and then bloom or whoever who only want to propagate originals can chose the non downsampled version as one particular choice offered by the protocol

this went down just after that “hacked” SEC tweet approving the Bitcoin ETF

it was a thread that mentioned Bitcoin and I posted that it takes great “opsec” to keep one’s wallet secure and that it’s just way too difficult for most people

and this furry shows up and says his ears peaked because I said “opsec” and he just graduated from Johns Hopkins and his professor is chief of the FBI and hates Bitcoin

then for about ten seconds he posts a copy of his diploma for some reason !

on the Fox News YouTube feed I watch for when they do just feeds from hearings, etc. there is one African American woman anchor and she is “doing her job” fielding these interviews, particularly on what’s happening in the Middle East. absolutely feel for her because the pundits she has on to interview supposedly giving those explanatory perspectives are always right on the cusp of flipping out if not fed exactly what they are looking for. must be very exhausting maintenance of a particular message completely divorced from reality.
