Not necessarily the best cook you know. The person who made you believe you could do it.
Me. I have never had any person cook with me or show me how to do anything in person. Blogs, youtube and 2 books have taught me everything. At this point I'm pretty sure I could put any of the mothers and grandmother's I knew growing up with 30 years ago to shame.

As someone that is currently obsessed with sesame oil this is some inspiration.

I am frequently reminded that my internet experience is not like anyone else that I have met in the physical world.
I have 2 primary e-mail accounts. One for critical information and one for things that I should know about within ~2 weeks. Everything else goes to a burner. Niether of these has an unread e-mail for more than ~ 12 hrs.
I have also been a proactive user of ad-block, mostly uBlock Origin but also SponsorBlock. It must be nearly a decade since i was forced to see/watch an advertisement.
Way back in ~2007 I locked everything down on my youtube. I get 0 recommendations, either on the sidebar or the home page (its just blank). It doesn't keep a history of watched videos, which is honesty mildy annoying
When people talk about algorithms, particularly in thier social media I never really understand. To me it isn't a thing. If there is only what I have searched for, followed/subscribed to, than what is the algorithm feeding/hiding from me.
I think most people are just dumb-cunts too stupid to properly configure the privacy settings on free websites
