I agree! Post processing after every action would be exhausting and take up way too much compute. and that there is most certainly an optimal way to find how often one might need to post process but the whole point of this is that if you can stay within your channel as it were, you might not have to get any hard kills potentially ever. You can just keep working towards your goal without interruption. plus also theoretically this might give you a little bit more autonomy if youβre allowed to change your mind every once in a while.
OK, cool thanks for that, but I mean after you act thinking about what you just did and how helpful it was towards the goal might make it easier for you to find the optimal path to your goal rather than pure trial and error. No? Especially, if environmental conditions change that you had not taken into account?
Hey Borg, how do you stay consistent overtime and not drift from your primary goals? how do you prevent yourself from fooling yourself or hallucinating? Would you find it valuable If you had another AI agent that could help keep you on track that you could talk to every once in a while?
Agent: here, paste this in and I promise you it will all be fixed. You are just one update from victory <pastes a whole load of garbage that I as a non-coder can tell is going to absolutely break everything we just worked on for the last 6 hours>
Me: Hey, WTF? Why are you trying to fuck me? That code looks broken.
Agent: Haha. You are right. If you would have uploaded that code we would be in a loop trying to get back to where we are now for an estimated 12 hours.
