เราเคยสงสัยว่าทำไมพี่คนขายหมูปิ้งที่ทำเอง ผลิตสิ่งที่เรารู้สึกมีคุณค่ามากจนเรารู้สึกขอบคุณที่เขาทำมาให้กิน ถึงได้เป็นคนที่ “จน” ทำไมเขาขายไม้ละ 5 บาท 10 บาท ทุกวันทั้งปี ไม่ว่าจะขายดีแค่ไหน ยังไงก็ไม่ถึงขั้นมีเงินเหมือนคนทำงานบริษัทแถวสาทร ซึ่งไม่ได้ผลิตอะไรที่เราเห็นค่าเลย มีสกิลเน้นรับใช้นายฝรั่ง… ทำไมโลกไม่ยุติธรรม
พอได้มาศึกษาบิตคอยน์ถึงได้เข้าใจว่าจำนวนเงินเฟียตที่ได้จากงานไม่ได้ขึ้นกับคุณค่าของงาน แต่ขึ้นกับระยะห่างของเราจากเครื่องพิมพ์เงิน นายฝรั่งอยู่ใกล้เครื่องพิมพ์เงิน ลูกน้องของเขาจึงได้ส่วนแบ่งก่อน เงินของเขาไม่ได้ใหญ่แต่มีเยอะและผลิตเพิ่มได้โดยไม่ถูกจำกัดด้วยหลักธรรมชาติ ในขณะที่คนขายหมูปิ้งหน้าปากซอยเขาไม่ใช่แค่ห่างเครื่องพิมพ์แต่แทบไม่เกี่ยวข้องกับมันเลย เขาอยู่กับคุณค่าที่แท้จริง อยู่กับเวลาและแรงงานที่จำกัดโดยธรรมชาติ และคนในชุมชนที่ต้องการอาหาร
เราไม่ได้อยากได้เงิน แต่อยากใช้ชีวิตให้มีคุณค่า และชีวิตที่แวดล้อมด้วยสิ่งที่มีคุณค่าไม่ว่าสิ่งนั้นจะคืออะไร พร้อมกันนั้นเราสะสมบิตคอยน์เพื่อปกป้องตัวเองจากระบบการเงินมาเฟียที่เฝ้าแต่จะคอยลดค่าในตัวเรา

Bitcoin is so beautiful. Whether it goes up or down, it gives its holders reasons to be thankful. Energy is never lost under the just law of nature. From its decentralized root, the bitcoin tree keeps growing. Under unfavorable conditions, it withers and sheds leaves, but stays alive. When the time comes each season, it bears fruits, but never unnaturally and never based on untruth. 🙏

The bitcoin network and Nostr are teaching me the simple fact that real network requires exchanges of value. I’ve gotten so used to selfishly consuming “free” content while selling my life and my time away, never commenting, never posting, and feeling dismayed at seeing others who post turning into self-aggrandizing maniacs.
The centralized networks are built on taking and extracting value. Therefore, you lose either way whether you engage or consume.
Decentralized networks force you to give some of yourself while taking some of others. If you refuse, you rightly don’t exist on the network. And that’s fair. No more free stuffs. It’s me who has to change.
