When I was a young person, I used to work with a lot of folks who were mandated to use computers and who understood how they work and they were indeed in an awkward position.

Luckily for everyone concerned, they all soon retired.

Most productive people today, dont have the luxury to stall while they dont learn.

The last folks to turn off the lights in officess will be the ones who can use the tech.

The purpose is, go off into the weeds on a tangent, and then just rewind to where you were, dumping your crazy context segway (if it fails to yield anything useful)...
