I've never set up an AI agent before, and I don't know how much it will cost me.
It can cost you as little as $0 up to a nominal monthly fee based on model usage.
Workflow:
1. Download OpenClaw from their official website and follow the onboarding instructions.
2. Link it to either a LLM model you run locally or pay based on usage through a provider (recommend OpenRouter for flexibility).
3. Use plain English to communicate with your bot to instruct it to automatically do the news scraping you manually do, after which it will send you articles that you proofread before copying and publishing.
4. Pro tip - you can have it read all your previous work to determine your writing style and editorial preferences as training data.
This will effectively make you "Editor In Chief" with free labor doing the grunt work of what you do, freeing up a bunch of your time.
For monetization:
It will likely need to come through paid sponsorships. You have a lot of eyeballs on your notes, so it's reasonable to do a "Sponsor of the Day" post during a high-traffic time of day to get some extra corn.
A note of caution: Beware of confirmation bias. The model may learn your preferences and eventually cater to them instead of remaining objective. This can be mitigated through *not* training it from your previous notes and instead explicitly instructing it to remain completely neutral through its reporting.
