@slipgate @Blurry Moon He doesn't really do his own public image any favors and I'm not going to play the devil's advocate for him. However, I do wish for the total destruction of sensationalist media outlets. I don't know if any media outlets would survive, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

@Blurry Moon The guy is single-handedly carrying the hopes and dreams of the alchemists of yore. I don't dislike him for that, and I find it's reasonable that he's eccentric in his ways. At least I don't know anything particularly egregious about him.

@georgia @nprofile1q... I think you might be conflating the plan9front enjoyers with the suckless fans. Maybe you're right, I don't interact with either of them so I don't really know.
I tried suckless' dwm and st, but I wasn't impressed by recompiling to set configs and keeping multiple patches working together to get basic functionality.
