Resilience through spotlight, how quaint. Maybe ask Jamie Dimon or Janet Yellen about their efforts to strangle Bitcoin.

IMHO Bitcoin is fine. Just the free market learning what works and what doesn’t which will drive more resilience. A small battle (which feels like everything to some) in the long war for sound money. Lots going on in background with many Bitcoiners who also view bitcoin as money unconvinced that this was the right path (or time)

What would it take for you to think Bitcoin is not fine?

I'm out, after being in Bitcoin for almost 7 years and underperforming fiat inflation and then watching the suits bully the plebs, I've already sold, the dream is over good luck with suitcoin

What??? Free market??? You always said “IF bitcojn stays decentralised and secure”.. 110 has proven it is not decentralised anymore. The current psyop is making believe that nothing happened, only some crazy people with a bad strategy got “humbled”. UNREAL delusion… Your node doesn’t ma...

I don't think Bitcoin is fine. We are now 100% certain that miners define what Bitcoin is. Miners are low time preference profit driven companies controlled and regulated by the big government. (currently with small exceptions like the based Roughnecks) Thus, they will choose the decisions of Say...

Core pushes v30 without any community support - an update that is against the basic Bitcoin protocol security - implemented. 20% of the community pushes for an update to roll it back, with another 50% on old core version never supporting v30 - denied. How is this fine?

Also the comment free market learning what works makes no sense. Because the market for this software - Core/Knots and its specifix attributes are nodes. Nodes are the market for this software and the majority do not approve of this.
Excommunicado · 2w
To sum it up. Node runners are in the market for software to help them relay information on Bitcoin network. A handful of Bitcoin Core devs offer the market a software that goes against basic security protol. Another software Knots offers an option that honours a good security feature. 30% of the ne...

Tough to see how Bitcoin is optimally decentralized. Here's my thoughts. Would appreciate your insight... ASIC industrial scale mining, and the concentration of power they have, seems to lower the 'pleb miner' vision Satoshi had of what "decentralization" meant. Being a huge miner is just proof o...

I don't understand how it's still decentralized. If 100% of nodes signal for a new BIP later and the miners ignore it will it still be decentralized? What about 75%?

While it might not be the first thing we promote because it is so early in the general public’s understanding which could impact our ability to attract the right businesses, we fully believe bitcoin is money and it is part of our plan to implement it as such within our operating businesses.

1. Right long term thesis
Versus
2. Leverage/debt against that long term thesis.
