Maybe a little tip for mods/admins who deal with the spam wave:

If hacked accounts appeal, first do a forced password reset before you allow the appeal

This is to make sure their passwords have been changed and their accounts won't be used in the attack again

So far all indicators point to stolen passwords and not tokens

No rest for the ban hammer :nkoHammer:

:nkoWave: Hello and a good meowing everyone! :blobcathearts: :blobcatsnuggle: have a most wonderful day and stay safe 😸♥️

It’s time to get some meow meows  :stux: :nkoSleep:

Goodnight my dear friends :mastodon: :fediverse: :blobcathearts: :blobcatsnuggle:

A massive thanks to @Madeleine Morris @Maki for helping out dealing with the spam the past day(s) ❤️
