Thanks! Yes, I understand. I think I was trying to communicate the value of our unit of account being denominated by the matter of a new bounded universe. It's actually kind of hard to say correctly 😅

Robert Pirsig stated that value is at the cutting edge of reality. We don't discover value in objects that already have form, objects take form because we value them. Since one of the most important ways that we come to consensus on the value of the objects in our world is through the lense of money, it becomes clear how the nature of our universal unit of account is deeply rooted in the overall health of the human race.

Adopting a lense through a unit of account that embodies the constraints of a bounded universe, as ours is, has monumental implications for the future of our species.

One of the aspects of bitcoin that to me is the most important reason why it is superior money, is that money is not physical and neither is bitcoin. Money is and always has been in idea. Gold isn't money, it's just the best physical container in our world for this idea. Bitcoin is money in it's natural environment- the realm of ideas.

It's fascinating to think that Satoshi, while pragmatically working on a way to make an idea decentralized and scarce, inadvertently created an entire universe, and that this result was likely a natural and inevitable result of his creation.

When I think of the informational realm, I imagine that this began with the first sharing of ideas way back when, then advanced through stories, books, financial transactions, media, etc and and eventually into cyberspace which is where bitcoin was born.

What do you think of this pre-bitcoin informational reality? What is it's relationship to bitcoin?

Does this mass and gravity exist as part of a new informational reality that is taking place within the bitcoin block chain? Energy is collapsed into memory when a block is found, and this energy leaves the universe in which mass consists of atoms, and creates structure in a place that we might refer to as "the informational realm." Is that correct?

It's not really too much of a stretch when you realize that our own reality could also be described as an "informational realm." Am I thinking about this correctly?

It seems like a state change when the question of "why" is introduced into a particular system.

For almost the entire lifespan of our universe, the only question asked was "how" do we find the next block? And as far as we know, we are the first to ask "why" do we find the next block?

The faith required to face this question and answer "Yes" while knowing that we have no direct evidence of a stated objective by the Creator of the system and never will, is, in my opinion, what leads to all of the qualities that are unique to those who ask "why". Namely creativity in all it's forms: art, entrepreneurship, etc.

With bitcoin, we can now observe the value that is achieved when a utxo enters a new state of being, but the utxo will never have access to this understanding, just as we will never know the value of our choice to act within the confines of our own universe.

However, the value that we can now observe, that is created by the discovery of a new bitcoin block, is only valuable is we continue to have faith in the value of our own actions.

This is the eternal source of inspiration that connects and propels the spiral forward: faith.
