If you are a researcher* in the Netherlands and want to send large files, you can use SURFfilesender instead of #wetransfer.

Up to 2GB file size (and up to 1TB with HTML5 browsers) - for free!

Don't let your #researchdata end up as unauthorized AI training data, use #OpenSource based solutions instead.

Hot off the presses: 🔥

The Dutch Research Council (NWO) published a report about mentions and citations of #ResearchData and #ResearchSoftware in publications funded by them. This is more or less a mandatory requirement for many years already.

Depending on how optimistic you want to be, the results are either 1) an improvement over time and decent compared to other countries or 2) very far from what we want to see.
