Why is primal doing kyc to activate wallet ?

wow I live in NY, unable to activate bitcoin wallet on primal. Politicians are nasty.

My settings on primal want me to install an extension called "alby". I go to install and it requires an invite. You have to answer questions. What is up with that ? I prefer if the settings highlighted "1" would go away.

Having trouble searching for people who have joined primal. Nmes just do not show up in search.
