Met with some smart and very well educated people in their 30ies yesterday (master in finance or similar)

They called bitcoin literally a ponzi because early investors got rich..
And think bitcoin will fail because mining rewards will run out in 2140 making transaction fees too high

Worst of all I don't think I was able to convince them that bitcoin is not a ponzi? How can they call bitcoin a ponzi but not real estate?

They didn't even listen they just argued their point of view not conceding anything

Very sad and frustrating but I guess we all get bitcoin at the price we deserve..
