use your own node and be sceptical of people who donโ€™t

Itโ€™s about the balance for everything also that can be a bit boring sometimes.

I've got some of that kicking around. From Lebanon not Turkey but same style. Light roast with cardamom. I'm usually more a French press guy because I just bring the whole thing down to my desk with me to drink through the morning.

I watched his keynote in vegas and he did say that the STRC is a variable-rate perpetual preferred stock which was used big time back in the 19th century to build americas railroad system.

Now you can say what you want but people back then said the same about the railroad, right so what happened at the end it connected the east and west reducing transport from 6 months M-O-N-T-H-S to 6 days

The big philosophical parallel:

Both represent investors betting on a paradigm shift โ€” railroads were the โ€œinternet of the 1800s,โ€ and Bitcoin is arguably todayโ€™s equivalent transformative bet. In both cases, bonds/preferred stock were used to attract more conservative capital into a highly speculative underlying thesis.

I am not saying he is doing the right thing but just putting that a bit into prospective and it was a great pioneer spirit back then.

He got me on that comparison and no this is not financial advise and no i am not holding STRC

But having a vehicle which generates income without selling your own stack is also a nice option to have.

I tend to agree with you. I think that will be when Russia, China, and North Korea enter the war. I think we're going to see global population drop... possibly to as low as 4 billion due to energy shortages, food shortages, civil wars (over the energy and food), and of course wars between various ...
