Today is Bruce's actual birthday!!! 5 years old. He's been with me since he was six months old. He was a hoarding rescue who also spent three months in a prison training program before he chose me to be his companion. I love this guy, like a lot. He keeps me doing the things. Happy Birthday, Buddy!!!

Took a wrong turn and ran 6 bonus miles (turned 50 miles into 56 miles or 80k into 90k lol) , but I felt really good about the race overall. I think I'm going to attempt the 100m there next year. Great aid stations and volunteers. All the other runners I encountered were awesome as usual. Good times.
My favorite running shoe company was a sponsor for the race last weekend. The deals weren't good enough for me to buy a new pair, but i did pick up a sweet free sticker.
There is nothing that needs to be done in the next however many minutes that can't wait a few more. Happy Caturday.
