There was lightning pinball at Bitcoin Miami 21. The network was saturated, though, and was hard to actually make a payment.

Yeah the way things unfolded was very weird. Norse and Anglo were very similar so they melded easily. Germanic was the foundation. I wonder if the Celtic language was just so fundamentally different that it wasn’t able to penetrate the other languages as they evolved together.

Not trying to be an “ackchually” guy but many of the developers of the atom bomb were very conflicted and regretful about what they helped create. They feared it could kill a lot of people and even end the world as it was known at worst. I’m sure some did think it would save the world too. But...

Podcast should be on Nostr, its better than RSS, but i am not aware of a decent NIP for it, and if one exists or will be created, it will be a replaceable event which suck. The podcasting 2.0 crowd will probably keep coping that RSS is good for a long time to come 🤷‍♂️

There are a few rss/nostr bridges and relays that may be of use. From memory the desktop NARR app support OPML impprt, nit mot sure if it has an embedded audio player. castr.me and podstr.org are potentially useful.

So far, the main reasons the moon is interesting for space travel are:
- Lots of grade A historic sites
- Lots of junk for a moon museum
- Cool sea AND mountain view
