Worst mistake was to take a btc backed loan. Now I need to be checking my collateral health every 30 mins (exaggeration).

I have a bit less optimistic view from what I experience talking to people.
Ppl don't care about self custody
Ppl know about inflation, yet is not painful enough
Ppl want to be hand held and told what to do.
They want the state. They need it.
Ppl are fearful.
Free thinkers are rare.
Freedom is not valued enough.
Bitcoin will remain a niche, specially as a p2p cash system.
Unless some singularity event happens, like is happening with AI right now.
Yet I believe Bitcoin is the best money. Is the hardest. Freest. Fairest. Safest. Most Honest.
It will just take more time. Much more time IMHO

You just have to do the following simulation to understand that HODL is useless.
- You continue to receive your salary in fiat.
- You save whatever is left over from your salary at the end of the mon...
Right now lots of people and businesses use cash, else it would be difficult to survive. If cash becomes verydifficult to use, people will start looking for alternatives.

Trees in higher latitudes (North and south) are not always net carbon takers. In winter lots of the carbon stored is released when leaves, branches and trunks decay.
