With the current protocol, this may not be possible, and I’m worried it could cause compatibility issues with other clients. It’s also quite hard to design a good interaction for it.
Thanks 💜
Yes! Besides marking someone as a favorite on their profile, you can also click the star icon in the "24h Pulse" to mark a user as "special" so you don’t miss anything from them.
Jumble doesn’t provide preview metadata, so it’s not great for sharing. If there’s an opportunity, I’ll implement a dedicated sharing service for Jumble.
This can be done by running a service that registers a mapping from a username to an npub, in other words, a NIP-05 service.
Using a third-party NIP-05 service would also work, but the resulting URL would be less clean, for example: jumble.social/iris.to/kaizenpunisher
No worries, feel free to report any issues you run into anytime 🫡
Does this happen every time? And which browser are you using?
And many clients have different implementations, so I wrote a lot of compatibility code for that 😂
I've implemented it using trust rank and page rank algorithms. Simply put, when you're followed by users with higher trust, your own trust score increases as well.
Since creating a new account on nostr is so easy, spammers can easily create a pubkey and post just once. So, letting accounts with fewer posts through might not be the best approach.
The main reason is that new users all start with a trust score of 0, so enabling this by default would end up hiding a lot of legitimate new users. I’m still looking for a good way to avoid new users being incorrectly treated as spam.
I do plan to add an option to let users set a threshold and filter out users with a trust score below that value.
I’ll consider it.
