For Multisig: You do not need to find a combination. When a multisig is spent the spending script includes the public keys of every multisig participant (the public key for the address number). So an attacker just needs to create a database with those public keys and then, when testing a seed, create the first public key for a multisig address and do a lookup. So it is the same space as finding a single-sig address.

The hard pill to swallow with the whole CC situation is: Even if the source code generating the seed was correct you have to trust the company not to change the hardware.
So I think hardware wallets with generic hardware and open source code is the way to go. E.g. seedsigner, specter-diy and krux.

Maybe Microstrategy and the Bitcoin ETFs are just a very elaborate scheme for creating a bail out fond for fractional reserve bitcoin exchanges 🤔
