American Express sells status in a “community” through spending. The more you swipe the cooler you are. The Black Card is basically a trophy for lighting a million dollars on fire every year. Bitcoin is the opposite.
Bitcoin status comes from not spending. Your membership is earned by stacking sats and having the patience to hold them. In this world the flex is self control not excess.

Amex says look what I can buy.
Bitcoin says look what I didn’t buy.

That one switch completely flips what money means inside a community. One rewards consumption. The other rewards conviction. People realize the friend and community of Bitcoiners also want to invest in meaningful friendship for the long term.
