中国、ホルムズ海峡の安全確保でイランに圧力－LNGタンカー航行巡り

中国がイラン当局に対し、エネルギー輸送の要衝であるホルムズ海峡を通過するカタール産液化天然ガス（LNG）や他のエネルギーの運搬を妨げる行動を控えるよう迫っている。ガス業界の幹部らが明らかにした。

　中国はイラン産原油の大半を購入し、同国に極めて重要な経済的生命線を提供している。しかし世界最大のエネルギー輸入国である中国は、石油・ガス両方の供給をペルシャ湾岸諸国にさらに大きく依存し、ホルムズ海峡経由の輸送に頼らざるを得ない状況だ。

　世界のLNG生産量の5分の1を占めるカタールの状況が特に懸念される。北部ラスラファンにある世界最大のLNG輸出施設が2日、イランのドローン（無人機）による攻撃を受け、生産を停止した。操業約30年で完全停止は今回が初めてだ。

　政府当局者から説明を受けた国有企業の幹部によると、中国のエネルギー輸入業者は、ホルムズ海峡での船舶の航行継続を確実にする努力を政府が行っていると伝えられた。

　企業幹部らによると、中国政府当局者はイラン側の高官に対し、ホルムズ海峡を通過する石油・LNGタンカーを攻撃しないと約束し、エネルギー供給を可能にするよう強く求めている。

　ホルムズ海峡を通過するタンカーの航行は、米軍とイスラエル軍が28日、イランへの大規模攻撃を開始して以降、事実上停止している。
