The current transactions that put data in the blockchain are in a format BIP110 knows how to block, but it is possible to contain arbitrary data in the chain in BIP110 compliant transactions: it is an unending game of wack-a-mole that cannot be won. Fundamentally Bitcoin is an economic game theory outcome: Data inside blocks is valuable because it is immutable. This fundamental reality cannot be denied. The best possible way to put data in the blockchain is in OP_RETURN because it is provably unspeadable. Cores removal of the limit was in complete good faith for the best of the network!

Data does not need to be in the blockchain. Adding it only intereferes with the financial function of Bitcoin, which is its sole purpose. Saying "BIP110 doesent stop spam" isn't the point and it's impossible for you to not already know this, yet opponents keep repeating it. The rest of your post is ...

A public blockchain is public immutable data. That value has use cases and has value. Money is the fundamental reason it was created and the most important task of creative distruction in legacy systems, but ultimately blockchain is an immutability machine and your fake moral purity posturing does not change anything. As inflation reward decreases to zero: that blockspace becomes the revenue for the miners (probably more so than fees).

It is what happened! The Balfour declaration was a British Government commitment to Lord Rothschild to commit to giving British Palestine to zionists and this was 1917! And the National Socialists had the Haavara Agreement which allowed jews to leave Germany AND get there money and property back in Palestine (hardly a genocidal agreement)

There are people just learning about BIP110 now. They are being told "moral crusaders are trying to take over bitcoin". Many that heard about it and never looked into it thought it was already "settle...

I challenge you to:
- do the calculation of how long it will take to get to the difficulty adjustment with 3% hash rate
- calculate how much energy cost it takes to get there

Bitcoin is *very* hard to attack on purpose. Your node isn't going to pay any of those energy costs. No economically rational minor is going to idealistically pay these costs for your false idea of moral purity. And plus on top of that: it is not actually possible to stop random data from being included and every way to do it is more costly to the network than OP_RETURN! BIP110 achieves nothing, will get no blocks! I'm not paid. I run a node (and a lightning node) and it would not be safe for me to switch to knotz!

Why would I perform these calculations for you, and if I did, what does it prove? How you feel about the fork doesent change anything. Are you trying to get me to "give up?" because you have established nothing with your response. You must be new to thinking because you're very bad at it.

Assuming difficulty of 126.23T The entropy cost in joules is (1.9561×10^9 J)*ln(126.23T*2^32)*2016 blocks All it takes is surviving 1 difficulty adjustment to begin reaching equilibrium. I assume it will be a few epochs for full balance. You can’t measure the energy since the transformations h...

It's not safe for both chains to exist (or be simultaneously supported) if there is no replay protection. Exchanges will keep running Core31 and follow the most difficult chain. Almost certainly knots won't get any blocks at all and will have to do a messy hard fork or it will just die. Soft forks only exist if you have the energy majority (i.e. soft means old clients will see the fork as valid even if not updated). The bip110 reality is neither temporary or soft. Attacking Bitcoin is hard and that is what bip110 has become so it will fail

Yes, agree: attacking bitcoin is hard. But it was done, nevertheless. Hats off to them! Bip110 is the defense, not the attack. Plebs will decide. Exchanges will too. And pay for their choices. This is bitcoin. No one to cry to when shtf.

When you present yourself as an expert, an engineer building a bridge for an example, and you actually don't give af about safety and spend all your time shilling and your bridge collapses and kills people. . . it is criminal and unethical to a shocking degree and you certainly are responsible

You know what you were told over and over. Germany ended interest on Money. The war was about protecting the (Jewish Controlled) usury slave system and democracy, which they put on a moral high ground, but really do you feel free because you check a box every 4 years? National Socialism gave loans to anyone starting a family and for each child a quarter of the loan was forgiven. It was by and for the German race, not out of hatred for anyone else
